After updated guidance from the Government and the Angling Trust – we are happy to announce that Salford Friendly Anglers waters will re-open for fishing on Wednesday 13th May 2020
The committee would like to thank our members for their observance of the governments recent no fishing lock-down guidance.
These are terrible times, a number of club members have lost family members and our hearts go out to you.
Many of our members due to their age and underlying health conditions are in high risk categories and will continue to self isolate for the foreseeable future. Please share your catches on our Facebook group so that these members still in lock-down can enjoy your catches too.
Please be respectful of other anglers, keep your distance from other anglers, if you are fishing with your children please ensure they are remain in your immediate vicinity and are not encroaching into other anglers personal 2 metre space.
Well done to all who have respected this 50 day lock–down.
Lets hope this terrible virus doesn’t take a hold again. We all have a part to play in this.
