A lure fishing match to be held on the 6th September 2015.
This is the format:
Cost £10 per person
Draw 11.30am Beefeater Pub, 11 The Quays, Salford Quays, Salford M50 3SQ
Fish 12 til 7pm
Meet at the The Beefeater at 11.30 to book on the match and to be allocated a fishing partner who you will stay with all day.
Free Parking is available on the single yellow lines at Waterfront Quay
Fish to be measured, witnessed and photographed by your fishing partner.
We will provide a special measure for you to lay alongside your fish when you photograph it.
Any species which takes a lure counts. Fish to be measured (we provide the measure) not weighed. Whoever catches the longest amount of fish is the winner.
You can fish any river or canal within the M60 ring round around Greater Manchester. You can also fish any Salford Friendly still water (including the quays and the Old River in Irlam).
At the end of the day – everyone has to return to the Beefeater by 7pm – where we will check photos, determine the total length of fish caught by each angler – and then award a prize to 1st and 2nd place.
Should be good fun………. No need to book on the match – just turn up on the day if you want to take part.
